ST+ART FESTIVAL 2016

ST+ART FESTIVAL
DELHI – INDIA

In early 2016, I was invited by the St+Art Festival in Delhi, India to create two large public scale artworks.
The first work was a wall work that was hand painted in the iconic Lodhi Colony area of Delhi, located between Khanna Market and Meherchand Market.
The other work consisted of painting 19 shipping containers that were stacked to create an architectural formation designed by festival architect Pierre Guyot and hosted at the largest dry port in Asia- ICD (Inland Container Depot) – Tughlakabad, Okhla.
31,200 sq ft. of ICD was transformed into a walk-through installation using 100 shipping containers by 25 national and international artists over a month of February 2016.
Thank you to the Festival team and all the artisans who assisted me on creating and completing the work on time.
